Question Who owns Summa Solutions Inc?
AnswerSumma Solutions Inc. is owned by John Hines.  With 11 years experience in the cabinet industry and 15 years as a business owner, John brings much knowledge to the distribution industry.  He saw an opportunity to provide the “whole” solution… the “Summa” solution.

AnswerSumma Solutions Inc was founded in 2014 on the concept of advancing distribution. We recognize the importance of bridging the gap between architects, designers, contractors, millworkers, and project budget and schedules. We offer the entire solutions necessary to complete any door or panel project. Summa Solutions is here to simplify the process and help you meet your project deadline.

Question How do I get a Quote or Place an Order?
AnswerYou can call and speak to one of our friendly Customer Service attendants at (803) 792-5685. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have. You may call any time Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Question How long does it take to get a Quote?
AnswerWe work hard to respond to quotes within 24 hours of receiving them. Our offices are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Question Do you take information for a Quote over the phone?
AnswerYes we certainly do, however we prefer to receive your information in writing to minimize the possibility of errors. You may email us anytime at info@summasol.com
Question Are shipping costs included on my quote?
AnswerYes. When you request a quote, please list your full shipping address (as well as your phone number) and we will include the cost including shipping at the bottom of the quote page.  If you prefer to use your own carrier, please indicate this on the quote form.
Question What is the pricing on enhancements?
AnswerPre glued- $18 per roll

Fusion/ Airtec- $15 per roll

Laser- $35 per roll

Infratec- $35 per roll

Orders and Lead Times

Question What is the minimum quantity ordered?
AnswerStandard edge band- 1 roll

Edge band with Fusion/ Airtec, Laser, Infratec-  1mm (3 rolls) 2mm (2 rolls)

Pre Glued edge band- 1 roll

Question What are your lead times?
AnswerItems that are in stock can be shipped the same day on all orders placed before 3:00pm.

Items that are out of stock can be ordered and ship direct to the customer with a 5- 7 day lead time.

Items that are special orders (Airtec, Infratec, Laser, etc.) can ship direct to the customer with an 8-10 day lead time.

Question Can I Expedite / Rush Ship your products?

Question How do I make changes after I’ve place my order?
AnswerAll changes to orders that have been place must be emailed to info@summasol.com.

Orders containing stock items not needing production or not special order may be changed at no charge for the first 4 hours after the order has been placed. After that time any changes will include a minimum $5 per item charge.

Orders containing special order or production items may be changed at no charge for the first 8 hours after the order has been placed.  Our production schedule varies slightly depending on our volume of orders in-house and current capacity. Once an order has entered production it cannot be changed.

Question Do you sell to Homeowners, Do-It-Yourselfers, or Hobbyists?
AnswerYes! We accept orders from anyone, however discounts are given through our distributors.  Click this link to find your local distribution center.
Question Do you have a minimum order?
AnswerNo. You may order 1 of any item that we offer.


Question How do you ship your products?
AnswerIt depends upon the size of the order. Smaller orders ship via UPS standard ground service. Larger orders are shipped using reliable Less-Than-Truckload carriers. Large orders are generally skidded.

Shipping charges are based on destination and weight.

Charges are determined at the time an order is placed.


Question How do you accept payment?
AnswerWe accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express, however there is a 3% processing fee.

For those who have completed our Credit Application we offer 30 day Open Account terms (payment is due 30 days after the order has been shipped). A review of your company’s credit history generally takes 1 week to process.

Claims and Damages

Question How do I file a claim for missing, damaged, or incorrectly manufactured products?
AnswerIf products are missing, damaged, or incorrectly manufactured on your order, you must notify us via phone (803.792.5685) or email (info@summasol.com) within 24 hours of receipt of the product. Replacements will be rushed through our system and shipped out as soon as possible.
Question How do I handle freight damage?
AnswerBefore signing a delivery receipt make sure you have done the following:

Check your shipment against the delivery receipt to be sure you receive all cartons listed.

Carefully inspect each carton for damage.

Have the driver note any shortages or damage, even if slight, on the delivery receipt. Immediately after delivery, open all cartons and inspect for concealed damage. If you find damage, do not destroy the shipping cartons. Retain damaged items, cartons, and inner packing materials in your receiving area until notified by Summa Solutions to do otherwise. Please do not file a claim yourself. Please fill out the “Product Replacement Report” and email it to our office immediately.

Damaged items will be replaced ASAP.

Question How do I return damaged products?
AnswerSumma Solutions Inc. reserves the right to inspect all products needing replacement. You will be contacted and given information on how to prepare for a freight pick-up. Credit will be issued upon inspection of replaced products if they do not meet our stated specifications.


Question What is your warranty on your products?
AnswerGeneral: Summa Solutions warrants that for one year from the ship date all products sold by us will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Warranty covers replacement of product only.  We are not liable for damages caused by our customer or the consumer.
